  Shocking! Had to wait over 1.5 hours for freezing cold food

  I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was bad enough that people need to know. I ordered what was supposed to be an “Italian” pizza from Domino’s, and what turned up was honestly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever been served. The base was soggy and undercooked, the toppings looked and tasted cheap, and the whole thing had that stale, reheated feel like it had been sitting around far too long. It was nowhere near fresh, nowhere near appetising, and definitely nowhere near what you’d expect for the price. What’s worse is the complete lack of customer service. I contacted them straight away, explained the issue clearly, and instead of properly resolving it, they offered to “make it right” next time with some free cookies or even a free pizza. Not ideal, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I placed a larger order later on, expecting them to honour what they’d promised… and nothing. No note of it, no apology, no extras—just completely ignored. At that point it’s not just poor food, it’s being misled. Mistakes happen, but how a company deals with them is what matters. In this case, Domino’s failed on both counts: poor quality food and even worse follow-through on their own promises. I won’t be ordering again, and I’d strongly recommend others think twice before wasting their money here.

  Very disappointed yesterday evening. Pizza lacked cheese and both pizza and garlic bread could have done with another couple of minutes in the oven. I enjoyed my homemade bacon sandwich though, after abandoning the expensive takeaway.

  Order 1 pizza it said it would be 20-30 mins delivery, it was 1 hr 5 mins. Pizza wasn’t warm, rang them and they suggested waiting for another one. Never order dominos anyway because its awful food, but for whatever reason I thought I’d try the new denby dale dominos but will never again.

  Ordered for delivery on a Monday, pizza was tasty, fresh and delivered quickly. I’m not sure what they’d be like on a weekend when much more busy though. But did enjoy them and would order again.
